The temple worships three kinds of Lord Subramanya- Sri Dandayudhapani Swamy being a boy, Sri Valli Devayanai- his initial shape and lastly in the way of a serpent. It’s carved out of amazing white stone with intricate stonework embellishing the facade. The temple also houses a silver-covered Garuda pillar which holds great religious significance for those devotees. There is an anthill by the temple, even the more natural habitat of snakes, which is supplied by the devotees with equal zeal and belief.
Operating out of the middle of incredible mountains, rivers, and forests, a visit to this temple is an abrupt rendezvous with nature that a well. One must take a holy dip at the Kumaradhara River to reach the temple gates. The entry to the temple is produced of the rear, from where you can walk around the deity.
